La Jolla Transportation — Quick Summary

La Jolla is about 15–20 minutes from San Diego International Airport. Within the Village, you can get by entirely without a car — everything is walkable and rideshare is easy. For anything beyond the Village core (Torrey Pines, beach-hopping, day trips), a car makes life easier.

These are a good option for getting between the Shores and the Village without dealing with parking — the flat, coastal route between the two areas is well suited to bikes.
