What to Do in La Jolla
La Jolla's best activities split cleanly into ocean experiences, nature, and culture. The ocean side β sea caves, seal watching, snorkeling, kayaking β is what makes La Jolla different from every other San Diego neighborhood. The nature side adds Birch Aquarium and Torrey Pines. The culture side is the Village, the cliff promenade, and MCASD.
Most guests try to do too much. One full day covers the Village and main coves easily. Two to three days lets you add Torrey Pines, more beach time, and relaxed meals without rushing.
